Riders for Life (operated by Fidens) provides users with the right to request personal data deletion in compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations.

How to Request Data Deletion

To initiate a deletion request, please email us with the following information:

  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account
  • A clear statement requesting the removal of your data

We verify the identity of all deletion requestors to protect your privacy and security before processing any deletion requests.

Data Categories for Deletion

Upon verification, we will delete the following data:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
  • Account and profile details
  • GPS location and riding activity records
  • In-app communication history and messages

Legal Exceptions

We may retain certain data when:

  • Required by law or legal obligations
  • Needed for fraud detection and security purposes
  • Data has been aggregated and anonymized for analytics

Processing Timeline

Verified deletion requests will be processed within 30 calendar days from identity confirmation.

Account Consequences

After data deletion:

  • You will permanently lose access to your account
  • All routes, riding history, and shared data will be erased
  • Reusing our service will require creating a new account
